Family Tree

This piece was one of the first vinyl projects that we did for your house. We needed something really big to put over our mantle and this is what we came up with. It has turned out to be one of my favorite things in our house and we are always getting so many comments on it. One of my friends like it so much that she wanted to give it as a wedding gift, but she wanted to incorporate the family name with it. I was excited to take on the project because it is something I have thought of doing for awhile now. Afterall everyone needs a family tree.

This was the final product. The sage board with brown vinyl is one of my favorite combinations, so I was excited when this was her color choice. I think it turned out pretty good.

Harvest makes me so Happy

I love fall. I love the colors and the smells and the cool crisp air. I also love to decorate for fall. This year I wanted to use a new color we ordered called Nut Brown. I gave Whit the job to create a new board for my mantle and this is what he came up with. Isn't it beautiful. He had some leftover cabinet doors, so he used one for this sign. He created the background in the nut brown with the Happy Harvest in brown and then put an antiquing glaze over it to give it the aged look.

Modern Art

My favorite thing about vinyl is that I can have cheap modern art above my bed quickly and easily. I really needed something above my bed, but could never find anything that I liked. Then I saw a similar idea in a magazine and thought I can do that with vinyl. This is the result. Pretty great isn't it.

Winnie the Pooh

Who doesn't love anything Winnie the Pooh. My mother-in-law gave us this quote for a baby's room and I love it.
